TERMS AND CONDITIONS

When you place an order, you automatically agree to the conditions below.

All amounts are exclusive of delivery and shipping costs.

All items are in vintage condition. Slight signs of use, which are not disturbing, are normal. If an item has significant damage, this will be stated in the description of the item.

PICKUP AND SHIPPING

To retrieve:

All items can be picked up by appointment. The desired items must be paid for in advance. Once the full amount has been received, the order can be picked up. Please contact me to make an appointment via email info@babuschka.nl

The ordered items will be set aside for a maximum of 2 weeks after payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. After this period the right to delivery expires.

Send:
Items where shipping costs are listed can be shipped. These items are sent via parcel post from Post NL. After you have placed and paid for an order, the order will be shipped within 5 working days.

Deliver
If you would like the item delivered, I will arrange for the transport company to be informed of your order (this is a specialized, external company). They will then contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time.

The furniture is delivered to the threshold on the ground floor.

The delivery costs can be paid in cash or by card to the transport company after delivery.

The prices are based on delivery with one man and per piece of furniture, for each additional item at the same address there is an additional charge of €15 per piece of furniture

The number of kilometers is calculated from the address of the transport company in Nieuwegein to my warehouse in Baambrugge and the customer's address.

Assistance with lifting: €5 per flight of stairs

RETURN POLICY

You have the right to cancel your order up to 10 days after receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation you have another 10 days to return your product. You will then be credited with the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the costs for returning from your home to the online store are at your own expense. These costs amount to approximately €6.75 per package, consult your carrier's website for the exact rates.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to Babuschka Vintage & Restyle with all accessories supplied and - if reasonably possible - in its original condition and packaging. To exercise this right, please contact us at info@babuschka.nl. We will then refund the order amount due within 10 days after registering your return, provided that the product has already been returned in good order.
Babuschka Vintage & Restyle reserves the right to refuse returns or to refund only part of the amount if it is suspected that the products have been used or damaged by the customer or third parties.
Babuschka Vintage & Restyle is not liable for any typographical errors and reserves the right to adjust prices

About our privacy policy

Babuschka Vintage & Restyle cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Babuschka Vintage & Restyle. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 01-03-2020, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, what this information is used for and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide to us.

About data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, which security techniques we use and for whom the data is visible.

Online store software

Our online store was developed with Wix software. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Wix has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose.

Wix is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have concluded with them. Wix uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Web hosting

We purchase web hosting and email services from MijnDomein. MijnDomein processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. This party can collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. MijnDomein has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. MijnDomein is obliged to maintain confidentiality under the agreement.

We use the services of MijnDomein for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. MijnDomein does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the services and in this context to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), Mollie shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data for longer than is permitted by the legal periods.

Shipping and logistics

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. It is necessary for us to share your name, address and residence details with PostNL. PostNL only uses this information for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting

We use the services of Siel - Acumulus to maintain our administration and accounting. We share your name, address and residence details and details regarding your order. This data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored protected. Siel - Acumulus is obliged to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Siel - Acumulus does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Purpose of data processing

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time - other than at your request - we will ask you for explicit permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically collected data

Data collected automatically by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations

In appropriate cases, Babuschka Vintage & Restyle may be required by law to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities offered by the law.

Retention periods

We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also regard this as a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in response to your assignment.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below what these rights are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies and copies of your data to your email address already known to us. We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy has consequences for the way in which we process already collected data relating to you, we will inform you by e-mail.
